Blocky pieces

I use the Newspaper pieces with Mac IE 5, and when I look at a game, the pieces look blocky,
as if they have been scaled up from a smaller bitmap. This doesn't seem to be a problem
with other chess sets.

I also use a Mac with Internet Explorer 5 and the Newspaper pieces, but I have no problems with
the display. The only possible explanation then is that someone must be tampering with your
games and substituting blocky pieces for the normal ones. That's not *so* bad, but if they start
substituting Monopoly pieces for your chess pieces, then you might be in trouble.

Did this happen only recently? I made some changes to the news
paper pieces - no one noticed (which was good).

Can you tell me how many colour your system is set to use?

It happened around the time you intoduced the preview boards for active public games. My
system is set to 16-bit colour. The problem seems to have gone away now, thanks. Colin
