board no longer fits in screen, forum list doesn'

i suspect i have changed a setting somewhere and cannot find it again.

the board no longer fits in screen, when the forum list is up the dates of last posting don't also fit on the screen without scrolling over. it did fit before.

it is NOT just a matter of the small board setting. i have been messing round in my control panel to try to fix it.

not sure what i did but i reckon i am guilty 🙁

try going to your control panel > display > settings and increase the number of pixels
