No, you can't directly invite...I have however invited a few people to games via PM, whilst I was in Blitz; 'I've noticed you in Blitz a few times, fancy a game soon ?' I can't remember there ever being an 'instant' reply, but we did play later in the evening or the following day...so, it's as good as it gets, off-the-cuff messages have resulted in pre planned meetings there....
