Just wondering.

Some of my posts have been removed which had very okay substance.
But, some of our right-wing American friends seem to take great offense.

I’m just wondering if they can have a post removed just by alerting it over a certain amount of times.

Cheers.

There's definitely a "no-humor" vibe going on lately.

It's like expecting people to stay sober until the election.

There's one particular dunderhead that flags every little slight.

He the kind of guy that sits at the bar and complains about the salt on the rim of his margarita. He just doesn't get it.

What a drag.

I understand that there is some automatic Moderation when usingcertain words. If People flag your Posts a moderator will take a look and decide to remove or not. Maybe a human moderator is swayed by the amount of alerts, but then who knows.

In your case I would say you are a Person not shy of usig strong language which can be offensive even if you don't "mean" to be mean. (Though I don't remember to have allerted any Posts by you)

Suzianne, I have mentioned in several recent posts that humor is great for debates

I would guess if it was offensive enough, probably.

Then one alert is sufficient.

I had a post removed by one poster because he deemed it racist. The poster previously said he drank a lot of tea which would require trips to the toilet, so another poster quipped whether he lived in a place that involves the words tea and pee.

1. It's not racist.
2. How can a post be removed because a poster isn't intelligent enough to understand a conversation?

This is probably a question to the moderators who will most probably not answer them, and most certainly won't answer in public.
