look again. Castling is not a legal move in this position. Every high school football player should be able to find out why.

Mephisto2 is correct, you are not allowed to castle through check. White's bishop on A3 prevents you from castling at the moment.

How do you initiate castling within a game (I know the move on a chess board) but have tried without success online. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Move your king two spaces in the direction you want to castle.
