    Hi All,
I started an open invite for a game off chess.
I asked beginners only (raging for me is < 1000)
It got accepted by someone with rating almost 1400.
I set my settings (challenge settings) to minimum rating 0, maximum rating 1200.
How come he still can take the challenge? Or does this count only for 'incoming challenges' ?
If so, can I set the rating for an open invite?

    Thx

I would recomend you play them, and try your best. You will learn more from losing to them then beating an 800 rated player.

    Good luck.

    I know that.
But it's no fun in getting beaten within 10 moves every time.
i'm under 1000 rating, and settings was done at 1200 ...
I do not realy know how good a 1400 rating player is 🙂

Thx for the answers ... we'll see how it goes.

You can't make an open inivte which restricts ratings until you are non-provisional. However, I don't think it's very courteous to accept an open invite without looking at the description first. If people have accepted your invite with a clear descritpion which doesn't apply to them, I'd suggest you delete it, perhaps with a brief message why. Or just accept rather than create them.
