Chat log updates stopped, how to activate?

Since the massagelog is replaced for a chatlog i do not get any updates in my chatlog. My chats as wel as my upponent chats are not saved in my chatlog. How to repair That!?

If you can provide me with a game id I will investigate. There are currently no known issues regarding the chat log.

Please do also check that the conversation was not in another game with the same opponent.

Can you confirm that you are seeing chat logs for other games?

No, i dont. But i noticed yesterday that i have to scroll topdown to see the last current chat in the chatlog. Not an improvement over the abolisched messagelog where i coult see my latest own message! Is it possible to reverse this!?

You should not need to scroll, the log should open showing the last message.

I suspect the two issues are related for you.

Can you tell me what device & operating system/browser you are using please?

If you haven't had Firefox updates in years, that will be a problem.

I am finding two ways to open the chat log when I go to an in progress game in which I am chatting with my opponent.
1. On the right of the game board, if I click the chat log link found between 'notes' and 'game log', the chat log opens and goes to the last post made.
2. If my opponent has just moved and included a message, the message window opens up and shows their current message to me, and I have the option to 'reply', or to click and open the 'chat log' from within that window. If I open the chat log from there it will open on the oldest or first message made during the game, and from there I can schroll down to the bottom of the log to see the most recent message. (the same message that is in the pop-up window when I first get to the game page)

So the two chat log buttons take you to the last post right away in one case and to the oldest or first post in the other case.

Maybe that is where the confusion is coming from here?!
