cheese way past its use by date ....

my neighbour came around the other day ... ... he gave me a present ...

out of date cheese ... it's use by is june 05!

i very politely thanked him ... and put it in the fridge.

i have very carefully not touched it since.

but tonight it does look nice.

and i am hungry.

and i have biscuits and wine.

and the shops are just too far away.

Just trim off the fur and it should be fine.

Some cheeses don't hit their peak till after their best before date.
You haven't lived until you've tried camembert that has to be kept seperate from other cheeses because it attacks them.
