Clan challenge timeframes

How do you see or change the timeout and timebank when making or receiving a challenge?

For receiving, you can see the proposed timeout/timebank on your clan page. However I don't think you can change it.

When making a challenge, I think it automatically uses whatever your clan's 'preferred' settings are. So if you want to alter it you have to go into the clan leader's special clan page, change it, THEN make the challenge - and then maybe change it back again.

All rather fiddly in my opinion. One of the few things around here I think needs some tweaking.
