Deleting sent messages

I'm probably going to look like a total idiot, but I can't figure out how to delete sent messages. Help, anyone?

There is no way, but I'd like to be able to delete them also!

Would be nice if you could also delete them before the other person reads them, but only if they have not read them yet.
