My computer is being a bit slower than usual. I keep getting this message when I turn the computer on;
"AVG Control Center
The red highlighted componants are in an error state!
Please pay urgent attension to their configuration!
Anti-Virus; Internal Virus Database is out-of-date."
If this is real obvious and I ought to know what it's all about then I'm sorry just humor meπ

If you are trying to do other things on your computer at the same time that it is trying to download, it can slow you up quite a bit for a while.
Once it has downloaded the update, you usually will need to reboot your computer. If you do not reboot, that message may come up.
That's about all I know about AVG, so I hope that helped.

I'll try rebooting see if that get's rid of the message π
My AVG auto updates. Sometimes if the computer has been off for a bit, I get that [or a similar] message I simply update [as mentioned above] by right clicking the icon and selecting 'update'.
That's the definitions update that I mean and not the program itself - I normally don't have to reboot afterwards.
