    chess game i.d. 1204599 is clearly a draw on blacks move ...look in move 25 and on but yet you RHP keeps letting the game proceed on why? It doesn't matter how many times I hit " Claim Draw " after my move..help.Game 1204599

    I think you've misinterpreted the draw rules. It's only a draw if the same position occures on the board three times with the same person to move. It's not a draw just because you repeated the moves.

    Both players have to make the same moves three times in a row for that type of draw to work. Good luck in your game!

    Yes, they do. In order for a draw by repitition to work, both players must make the same 3 move sequence.

    No, the same position must occur 3 times, the moves that make the position need not be the same.

    It's called three-fold repition.
    It's quite often misunderstood.
    It means the repitition of position NOT moves.
    (But if both players repeat the same moves consecutively this one of several possibilities that lead to a repitition.)
