Yes, there is all kind of information in the FAQ, and perhaps zak should read the FAQ first, but hey let's be nice and answer his question since he is quite new as a member at RHP and recently saw this fantastic feature of clasns.
The answer is easy - there is many advantages to be a subscriber, subscribe and take part of clans, tournaments, sieges, unlimityd concurrent games and a lot more! Subscribe! (I did...)

i can still join clans right?...in that case all i have to do is get a subscriber to make a clan and then ill join and he can make me moderator ar leader or whatever and make me the clan in charge sortof....is that possible?
And to the second question - yes. When you're a subscriber, then you can form a clan of your own, where you're the clan leader and can recruit clan members and challenge other clans and have real fun.

Clan Leaders can't leave their own clan.
