it happens every couple of months ... someone thinks i am using an engine to make my moves.

i take it as a compliment mostly.

but seriously - a computer would slaughter me ... i am rated hundreds - and hundreds of points below computers.

this gives me an opportunity to ask for some attention ...

i ask - if someone has a little spare time and the ability to click a few buttons - how much do i match with engines?

i guess the best games to check would be those i won in the period 13 march to 13 april 05 (have a look at my profile graph to find them).

You're rated a few hundred points higher than me. If you were to beat me in a match, it would only be because you use an engine.

Seriously, I don't see why his request is so unreasonable. People like No1 analyzed a bunch of other suspected cheaters. Requesting that your games be analyzed seems a good way to get rid of annoying accusations.

And I admit to engine use (see my avatar logo) and no one does anything about it!

Even my scores keep going up and up...

And still no one does anything about it...

    Go figure.
That's paranoia for you honey! 😉

All you have to do is look at the game graph in a players profile.
If you look at Flexmore's profile it shows the one thing computers
DON'T have: inconsistancy. Win, draw, lose, draw, win, win, etc.
It makes for a pointy spiky graph, just what humans do in real life.
Unless someone really is a master, like a 2300 player USCF or FIDE,
his profile will be a lot more consistant when playing duffers, but
would certainly get more inconsistant playing others of his caliber.
If you had seen Ironmans profile you saw extreme consistancy,
as well as Yozzer. At one point I was annoyed with Flexmore for some
posts and accused him of using engines but only in PM. I was just
rattling my brain, a close look at his profile clearly shows human
play. One player I won't mention has this profile that for the first
bunch of games is writhing around 1300 or so, then dips down a whole
bunch, then starts a near vertical rise. That kind of profile smells
to high heaven, like he was going along at 12-1300 for a few months
and then says to himself, enough of this crap, I am going to dig out
fritz. Thats what the profile tells me.

    bugger.

i thought i must have been playing well 🙁

and i got some pm response about my matchup rates ... between 1/3 and 1/2 ... maybe the engines made lots of mistakes 😉
