Had a game in progress, player had his vacation flag on. The timeout went into effect and I waited two weeks. At two weeks, I claimed the victory believing that two weeks was sufficient time to wait. A day latter he is back and calling me a jerk. ( Who can stay away from chess for two weeks?) I'm willing to reactivate the game if that is possible. Any ideas?

I think that one is gone, but if you're serious about picking it up again, just play him another game.

Copy down the moves you both made before and replay them exactly the same up to the point of the time out, and there you go, off and running again.

No it isn't possible.

You can use a set piece game to play from the position you were at, but it will be unrated.

You still want to play against a guy who called you a jerk?

I think it's rather obvious what Bowmann wants, he wants him to PM his opponent "war is war, loser." .

Edit: he is predictable.

If this is an intentional pun it is quite good.
