You can delete the messages you want to delete in your inbox by ticking the box at the side of each message,going to the bottom of the list and pressing delete selected.
You can reduce your messages by not playing wwg!!

If you don't want the bother of ticking the box on each message, there's a "select all" option over on the left which will tick the whole page for you. Of course you still have to tick "delete selected" button. 🙂
