I only want to play against one opponent.
I don't wanna accept invitations from other people.
How can I manage that, with a sense of decorum?

Use the "My Settings" -> "My challenge settings" and use the appropriate options.

I don't know if non-subscribers have the same options than I have, but I have a low Game limit and a minimum rating exceeding the maximum rating.

Those I want to be challenged from have i put in my buddy list.

If you get an unexpected challenge from someone you don't know, or don't want to play, just delete the game! Decorum doesn't come into it - the challenger has no right to expect to force a game on you.

Maximum number of concurrent games before preventing challenges. Other 'wherever you are' users will only be able to challenge you when you have fewer than this number of active games. You will still be able to initiate games yourself above this limit.
Enter the number of games you want to play in the box where it says the above. In My Settings--> My Challenge Settings --> Game Limits. [non-subs have that too]

My Settings, My Challenge Settings. Set Min Rating to 3000+.

Then go to My Home, My Buddies, and add the person you want to play as a buddy, which will override your challenge settings, so he'll still be able to challenge you.
