It will pull the rook after you submit...
If you ever make an illegal move it will show you in red...
I never move the rook first otb but I assume if you did that here you would have an illegal move... don't know

And moving your rook to the square it would end up on after castling wouldn't be an illegal move in any situation where castling was legal.
