perhaps you could give us the option to sned direct a message to someone who was challanged, but it failed?
like:
I want to play Russ, he has set his filter to 0 games and players above 1900, so my chellage fails. When I get this message there is an option send message to Russ that I want to play a game against him
just an idea... (perhaps quite often people try to chellange me, but it allways fails)
