Hi Guys

How about giving members and I mean paying members a rank in accordance with the number of forum posts made by that person.
I have seen other sites doing this and it seemed to work fine.I was thinking something in the line of:

50 = Recruit
100 = Private
200 = corporal
and so on.

I am sure you guys will come up with something more original.

I know we had problems when there was a table reflecting the top posters but maybe this will work much better.

Another thing I noticed was other forums having the facility to start an oppinion poll.Anyone can start it on any given subject and people get to vote.This could be an interesting feature and create some interesting debate.I dont know how difficult that would be to write in though.

Russ cut out the post counts a few months back... people were posting "Extra Nothing" just to be the "best poster".

When Russ stopped the posting counts, the forums "cleaned up" a bit.

I would like to see the ability to give a post a good or bad rating, that might keep people from posting c-rap.
