How can a non-exsting player accept a non-existing open invite

I have just received an email saying an open invite has been accepted by a player; an open invite that did not exist

When I click pn the player I am told they don't exist

Help please, what am I missing

Check the send date on the email, if you can.

Sounds like your e mail account has been compromised.
Probably nothing to do with RHP.
I occasionally get strange e mails from someone in my address book.
When I e mail them(not reply) they haven't sent the e mail
It's always when their account has been compromised

@venda

No; email account not compromised.

The email was from RHP and the game was in my games list

That's a known bug.

However, all it does is create a non-existing game, so you may safely ignore it. 😀

Thank you for taking the time to reply; but how an unrecognised player can accept an open invite , existing or not, is beyond me.

Interestingly, at the same time, a player who I have played before accepted an open invite; I greeted him as I do and then the game simply disappeared.
Interesting

PS

I thought about a challenge but looked up your rating

Cheers

An error encoding certain names that come from social media sign in can create badly encoded "slugs" - the linkable names you see in the address when you click an account name.

The vanishing account does exist, but just can not be viewed by clicking their profile for the above reason.

The player can be found in the player directory (select non-movers switch first).

So, a bug to be fixed.
