Open Invites with no accept option

When I click on Open Invites, I see a long list of games, but only three or four of them have the "accept game" option. The rest of them seem to have already been accepted by others but for some reason keep showing in there. When I log on with my son's accound, I do not see these erroneous games. Any ideas?

Usually, the ones without an "accept game" link are those that your own rating doesn't fit into the rating limits that have been set. Provisionally rated players cannot accept ANY games that have had limits set.[I see that wouldn't apply to you though]

Does you son have a higher rating than you.

Nb. Don't forget you are not allowed to play using his account.

My son has lower rating than I do, and I do not play logged on as him.

Fair enough; maybe the games require a lower rating than yours, and your son is within the set limits.

But does anybody else see a long list of games they can not accept?

Yep, I do - I think everyone sees all the open invites; you just cant accept them all - depending on the advanced options that were set.

Certainly "game of death" sounds appealing!
