Every time goggle blocks one the cursor changes to a hand with a small explosion thing on it.

I was just having a ponder over Goggle’s motivation for providing such a tool. I guess it is in Google's own interests to block popups - then the advertisers will give the more business rather than the ad networks that place pop up ads. Maybe.

I hear people complaining about pop-ups and spam and bulk mail all the time.I'm surfing the net ten hours a day, every day and never get pop-ups nor spam nor whatever other annoying stuff there's out there.
I didn't do anything to block this, didn't raise any security level.
What the heck are you people doing to get all that crap on your comps????
