Pop-up blocker and Analyze Board problems

When I installed my new pop-up blocker, I noticed that analyze board sometimes didn't work, even after telling the blocker to allow pop-ups from this site. I found that I periodically need to reset the blocker settings.

sounds like a less than ideal pop-up blocker
I use EMS Free Surfer mk II, though many on this site have expessed a preference for the Google tool bar (which includes a pop-up blocker).

Most pop-up blockers allow you to hold down the shift key when pressing a link to allow the pop-up to open.
