One easy way is:
Open the picture up in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. Click on the icon at the bottom for editing, then click on image at the top and then stretch/skew. Set the horizontal and vertical both to 50% and save asfrom the file menu.[use a different name for the pic if you want to keep the original]
See if the size is ok then. If not try a lower percentage.

Gettin it into the boxwas just too complicated for me!!
