Is it possible to grab various FEN's from a completed games history, depending on what move the game history is on? It seems like it only gives you the same one each time.

What you showed seems to be the HTML code for converting a
game number to a fen diagram but how do you invoke the code?

It looks like you just change the gameid at the end of the URL to whatever gameid you want.

I thought it would be a good way to write a post annotating our own completed games, using the board at various stages. Then people could give us ideas on how to improve our play.

The site should accommodate PGNs within posts.

Except the site only allows one FEN per post.

One could try Queen Alice Internet Chess Club.

PGNs can be posted, fully annotated, with variations.
