Question for Russ

I understand the server will automatically set up the games to be played in the upcoming New Year Tournament.

Will the 'challenge preferences' limits set in individual players 'Your Settings' need to be raised to a higher number, or will they have no impact in getting the games started?

Hope I'm not treading on any toes here but in the interests of a quick answer...

Nope. The tournament games will get set up regardless of the game limit specified in your settings.

That answers my question, then.

In other words I don't have to make any changes whatsoever in my personal settings.

Yep, this is true.
Tournaments (and their later rounds) never start automatically either, we have to push the red button to start them.
