If the tournament were of random pairing, I would buy the membership to play! Without random pairing, I am not interested.

If it is not random, how are pairings worked out here at RHP?

The highest ranked player plays the lowest ranked one. Sometimes some sub-groups are used, but this effectively eliminates the weaker players immediately. If two lower ranked player could play each other, it would be more interesting, at least until the second round!

Hey I didn't know it was paired this way....seems a bit unfair to me, how can a low-rated player get to the next round?!?😕

This is not true.

In a knockout tournament with 128 players, the highest rated player is paired with the 65th player, #2 plays #66, #3 plays #67.... and so on, until #64 is paired with #128.

Done, I assume you read my reply! I wanted to leave about 4 months ago because of the same issue! Enough is enough!
