Recently, one of the players rated over 2400 resigned a number of tournament games that say they are Rated, but he lost no points from his rating. How can that be?

You can't delete a tournament game or a clan game. So if the gameload is too high and a new round in a tournament begins, the player can just resign the games, doesn't loses rating points and does not impede the progress of the tournament
