Ratings Question

I know that ratings aren't the point of this site, but is it possible to lose a game and still see your ratings rise?

I believe the current ratings system will provide the maximum ratings boost if I win against a player rated 200 points higher than me and it doesn't make a difference for 201+ points. Similarly for losing to a player 200 points below you. But what if you play someone 200 points higher than you and lose?
