I think, and its only a wild guess, that its a table sorted by the most recent mover.
I'm not sure though, maybe send feedback to Russ to find out. 😉

for some reason, even though all you wrote was that it was a table of recent movers (which i knew, because that's what it's called, duh) i FINALLY understood what it meant: people who had moved in a game of chess recently! MAN THAT IS OBVIOUS, what's my problem? i was thinking it was people whose rating had dramatically changed recently or who had made a LOT of moves ... and so had moved up/down one of the other league tables.
oh well, that's one way to spend a couple of hours! 😵🙄
