rec = recommendation. When someone likes your post they hit the "recommend post" button below it and you get a 'rec'. The most highly recced posts are put on the 'recommended post' forum for a while so peopl e can find good posts quickly. A persons rec total is visable when they post.

Can't find the "recommend post" button? I think maybe only subscribers can do it.
