How do I stop them recurring?

Send feedback, tell them not to charge again. Wouldn't hurt to send a reminder request closer to the date if you haven't had a reply.

Your bank will stop it if you ask...I note you're a new subscriber though, planning to leave so soon ?
Remember that anyone can pay a sub for you, for birthday \ Xmas etc, and they can still pay by money order....

No, I just don't like automatically rebilling subs.
