I have just looked at a game where one player resigned.
I was interested in seeing what might have been so clicked on the analyse button to try and play on had the player not resigned.
Am I right in saying that once a game is resigned you cannot use the analise game feature to continue said game?

at least in my browser the "analyze" feature is present in finished games.
Plus you can download the pgn and play around in any pgn-viewer.
@Ponderable
Thank you.
Yes, the analyse feature is there but it doesn't work once a game is completed.
I have no idea what a pgn or pgn viewer is so am showing my ignorance.
I'll try and do more research before posting again

Are you saying that you can still analyze games that have finished, using the analyze button?
When I click on ‘analyze’, it brings up all the moves played, and these can be played through.
But I cannot enter any further moves beyond the last move, to see how the game might have gone.
Prior to the recent site update I’m sure I could.
So I’m wondering if it is a problem with my browser following the update, or if it is the same for everybody?
@Tommovich saidThat is exactly what I originally said; I have sent feedback to Russ to see if it is possible to use the analize feature beyond the game end.

Even in a checkmate situation it would be possible to change the last move or two first and then see what might have been.
Cheers
