Russ - More than max Entrants in the Mu Grouped Ra

There are currently 49 Entrants in the Mu Grouped Random Tournament but a max of 48. And I can't join that tournament anyway.
So who is this extra priveledged user?
Or is this just a bug, Russ?

as a qualified mathematician i can confirm that 49 is indeed often considered to be greater than 48.

this is quite a difficult proof however so you will just have to take it on faith.
