Instead of just having a place to scrible some garbbled notes, couldn't the notepad be a bit more structured. It would be really useful if i could exchange my notes with my opponent after the game, thus exchanging analysis without having to go through the whole game again.
A more useful notepad, to me, would be one were i could jot down x amount of variations, for each move. These different variations would then be playable in the analysis window. In fact, why aren't the notepad and analysis window the same thing?
The way this site is structured, im amazed people don't take more time to exchange analysis. I know that all the strong players are using the notepad, why not allow this information to be organised and passed around?
Just a thought 😉

I would also add the feature of being able to makes these notes (aand save them) whilst it is your turn but without actually making your move.
OOps, clicked post without writting lol!
Yep, i agree, the analysis/notebad board should be independant of the game. Perhaps if duaring the game, the analysis/notepad board remains 'private', but once the game is finished, or the player chooses to, it is made 'public', so others can read it, AND ADD AND MAKE CHANGES! 😲
It interesting I think, but it'd require a huge changement (pgn export of your analysismoves, ...) of the site's code. But smaler cheangements make perhaps sense as well and are feasable: why not intergrate the notbook in the board analysis: right now I analyse my games in the gamehistroy (I perfer it to the boradanalysis) and change move by move to the playgame page to add it in the notebook.
Making to notes public would make sense as well. There could be an option, I can imagine that this is not too difficult.
