Slashes in PMs

Sometime when I send a PM and get a message saying my message contains offensive language where ever there are quotemarks within the PM suddenly appear several forward slashes e.g. ///. This also just happened in a reply to a message I sent. Does anyone know why this is?

I read about this in the forums before and, if I remember correctly it is known about by the admin and is being fixed.
