One of my current opponents (GraemK) has Subscriber as a link preceding his name in the list of My Games.

What does that mean?

Its "GraemeK". And it sounds like a bug in displaying the subscriber star.
Try refreshing the page or clearing your browsers cache.

HELP!! How can I delete my user ID. I don't have a subscription but I need to discontinue my membership/ account. I only have a free membership. I need to close my account. PLEASE HELP THANKS!

You can't "close" an account.

If you do not wish to play on this site anymore, just don't log in.

But if it's just losing your games, try playing a lower ranks opponent. Someone who has a ranking about ~900. You may find those games more enjoyable.
