I'm trying to subscribe a friend of mine as a Christmas gift. However, I'm having a lot of difficulty figuring out a way to do so without him knowing about it. Is there a way of subscribing someone else without logging in as that pe ...[text shortened]... ?

It's also a good idea to copy your frind's nick at the start so that you can paste it in... that way you won't have a problem if you type the name incorrectly.
A few day's later your friend will have a yellow star next to their name.

This is all correct, apart from the star will appear instantly - so you may want to do it as close to Christmas as possible.

Fill in everything as if you were ordering for yourself (so your email address). After completing the order you can then enter your friend's name to assign the star.
