I sent a feedback about this same problem I was having, completed challenges showing up green in the list.

The reply I received ask to make sure the page wasn't being displayed from cache. In IE, I cleared the cache (Tools/Options/Delete Files) and a refresh seemed to clear things up.

I haven't seen this yet since I switched to Firefox. I'll have to check and see if this still happens.
