the end of a thread

how do you get to the last post on a thread when it is over 20 pages long.I know it must be easy and I feel silly asking,but???

Instead of selecting the "thread" link, select the "last post" link to the right of it (and just to the left of the name of the last person to post).

it took me about 4 months to find out... don't feel embarrased. Unfortunately, I'd put myself through reading the entire "Jokes and the Culture of Laugh" before I found out 😉
