Did your opponent put you on their ignore list?? Try to message another opponent and see if that works. If not I would send feedback. I have had minor problems with this before but not recently.

Thanks - i tried in a few games - i cant actually send feedback either as it only lets me write the subject but not any content - appears to be related. Bizarre.
