This is an awesome site.

This is by far the best website I have ever been to. I'm just curious, can anyone give me some pointers? I'm brand new to the site. Can you do anything on this site besides play chess?

I agree with that! You can join a clan...or enter a tournament...and you can talk in the Forums!

What is a clan? I just tried to enter a tournament, but it won't let me! Something must be wrong with my computer.

You just have the six games as a non paying member... if you like the place you can buy a star ($14.95 for a whole year) and then you will be able to join clans (teams) and enter tournaments.

Your star is the most deformed I have seen. My computer screen's tint is off and its blurry.
