I just resigned a game against Quirine, Game 421512 and my rating went down 11 points. But... when you look at Quirine's graph, you can see that his rating only rised 8 points, where did the 3 other points go... ?

Could it be that his rating is above 2100?

maybe quirine had just lost another game at the same time?
that is sooo strange. maybe the RHP robot gets those points as he is not allowed to play to get points....it might be a point donation 😀

yes.

"New Rating = Old Rating + K * (Score - Win Expectancy)

K is a constant (32 for 0-2099, 24 for 2100-2399, 16 for 2400 and above)"

so you would expect his rating change to be 24/32 = 3/4 of your rating change.

Ratings adjustments do not work like financial transactions. Earned/lost ratings points do not need to be accounted for elsewhere. 🙂
