Maybe Tournements with Rating Requirements should not allow provisional 1200s to join. The reason...
In the Beta Quickfire Rookie Duel, headcrash is a clear favorite to win with a 1710 rating. He joined the tournament as a provisional 1200 player.
This wouldn't apply to non-rating controlled tournaments as that is obviously potluck.
