I have possible plans to go on vacation over the Christmas holidays and threw the new year. The current vacation settings as of now only allow me to book days up to December 31st and will not allow me to book the days I'm going to be gone after that. Well this change before Jan, 1st 2009 so I can't be timed out right on new years day??? or new years eve my time. Does anyone know??? Thanks for your time.

My settings -> My vacation settings
    You'll see a 2008 and a 2009 calendar there.

Book the days you need (whatever you have left in 2008 - 36 days in 2009) from the relevant calendars.

I see no calendar for 2009 or any link to go to 2009 on my vacation settings. Maybe I'm missing something but I just went over it a couple times.

edit; The only calendar I have to book days on as of now is for all of 2008. That's it. NO 2009 anywhere.

It's a bar between the "My Games", "New Game" etc. links and the vacation settings box. Somehow it's hard to see - I remember I couldn't find it last year either.

My Settings - > My Vacation Settings.
In the bar below the menus - on the left is '2008' on the right is '2009'

Quick question. Do vacation days carry over? For example, if I have 30 days left. Will they carry over to next year so I'll have that much more then? Or should I go ahead and use them up?

No, they do not carry over. You will get a total of 36 vacation days for 2010 (if you have a subscription).
