how do I set myself to being on vaction and what exactly does it mean?

1. Go to "My Settings."

2. Go to "My Vacation Settings."

3. Click "On vacation."

4. State a reason why. (optional, but much preferred.)

Once you put your vacation flag up, it means that you will be unable to move during that time, thereby letting your opponents know what's going on. Theoretically, your opponents won't time you out if you have a vacation flag up.
