The p before your rating means that your rating is still provisional, and it is so until you've played your 20th game.

When you've ended a game, your new rating is calculated based on certain rules. When the rating still is provisional the rating calculation rule is somewhat different. Therefore your rating may seem erratic during this provisional period.
