Excuse me please,
I can read more when I have time. However, where are the dot symbols that used to be beside peoples' user names when they are online? Have they been taken away? If they were taken away, what happened that they had to be removed?

Dots are still there, but they are bigger and a lighter colour, and gradually fade away. Of course, people can turn off their own dots if they want to, and many people do.
