I think all humans EAT a banana the same way, what you probably mean with this question is how does one PEEL a banana.

No doubt the best and easiest way is to not open the peel from the stem end, like I see a lot of people do, and struggle with it, but rather to hold the other end of the banana up and pinch the flower end of the fruit real hard until it splits and then the peeling is easy from that point.

No, I didn't want to restrict the thread's participants as to what they might say with regard to the various stages involved in eating a banana and the scope of their self-observation.
